Students’ Self-Confidence and Their Willingness to Communicate in English

This study aimed to find out the level of students' self-confidence and willingness communicate in English. Furthermore, main purpose this was correlation between their The researcher adapted questionnaire from Park Lee (2004) cited Ningsi (2020). Also, Horwitz, Cope (1986) Rihardini, Yaniafari, Mukminatien, 2021). conducted grades 10, 11, 12 a private high school North Sulawesi who were enrolled first semester 2022/2023 academic year. results (1) moderate with mean score 3.17; (2) English 2.85; (3) there significant r = 0 .575 p =0.000 < α =0.05). Thus, teachers must try motivate ways help students be more confident so that will willing communicate.
